Tabletop Scanning Electron Microscope for Research and Training
Professor Sarno studies polymer nanomaterials and used the funds from his three-year, $71,000 NSF instrumentation grant to purchase a desktop electron microscope. Through his research, Tabletop Scanning Electron Microscope for Research and Training, students have the opportunity to view variations of polyaniline, a polymer capable of conducting electricity. “I want to get better at delivering content in class, assessing the success of my classes, and motivating students.”
