ActionNYC Application Period for Capacity-Building Fellowship Now Open

The City University of New York (CUNY), in partnership with the Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs (MOIA) and the New York City Human Resources Administration (HRA), announces that the ActionNYC application period for the Capacity-Building Fellowship is now open. All applications and application instructions are available for download and print below. The deadline to submit your application is Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.

ActionNYC's capacity-building program consists of two competitions to support community-based organizations to participate in the Immigrant Outreach and Immigration Legal Services Capacity-Building Fellowships as "CBO Fellows":

  1. Immigration Legal Services Capacity-Building Fellowship: We will support up to ten (10) organizations to participate in forty (40) hours of legal training and assistance. The Fellowship will occur over approximately four (4) months and each organization will receive $5,000 for their participation.
  2. Immigrant Outreach Capacity-Building Fellowship: We will support up to ten (10) organizations to participate in outreach training and assistance to convene culturally-tailored Know-Your-Rights (KYR) forums. The Fellowship will occur over approximately four (4) months and each organization will receive $5,000 for their participation.
