General Description

A research technician position is open in Professor Zimei Bu’s group at the City College of New York to study protein structure and function.  We seek a talented experimenter, with a degree in biochemistry, chemistry or biology.  The position requires previous working experiences in a biochemistry or biology research laboratory.  The desired skills are cell culture growth, protein expression, and protein purification.  We encourage candidates who are quick learners and having good work ethics to apply. 

Other Duties

Maintaining a clean and orderly working environment

Communicating with the principal investigator and other lab members

Qualifications

BS or MS in biochemistry, chemistry, or biology

At least one year previous experience to work in a research laboratory
