Program Description: 

Liberty Partnerships Program provides support to participants in their preparation for college entrance and the workforce after graduation from high school. The program provides opportunities for participants to succeed in their pre-college performance and ultimately in their higher education and or professional pursuits.  We service students from our Target Schools

The goal of our program is to increase the rate at which participants complete secondary education and enroll in and graduate from institutions of postsecondary education. We are also committed to helping our students to prepare for the workforce.  Services are provided during the school year and during various summer programs we run.

Position Description:  Math Tutor (Part-Time)

Under the day-to-day supervision of a Senior Specialist or a high-level supervisor, tutors students in math.  

 

Position Reports Directly to Program Director

Qualifications

Core Competencies/Qualifications:

 

  • Ability to teach Math to students of various ages;
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of student records, as appropriate;
  • Ability to work with young people in all program related activities;
  • Has been fingerprinted by Department of Health or Department of Education and or willing to be fingerprinted for the position,
  • Ability to write clearly and produce/edit accurate, well organized, and understandable reports;
  • Ability to work under deadlines, with changing priorities;

Academic qualifications relevant to the needs of the position
