General Description

The Advanced Science Research Center's MRI Facility seeks talented applicants for position of Assistant Director. Applicants should have, in addition to skills managing a lab or core, a research background in neuroscience, psychology, biomedical engineering, computer science, or similar. Primary duties involve coordinating research studies, streamlining operational procedures, creating digital automation of screening, safety, and other SOPs.

Other Duties

Opportunities exist for scientific collaboration on research projects involving MRI, EEG, and noninvasive brain stimulation: including collecting and analyzing data, preparing manuscripts for publication, and submitting for external funding. 

The position is part-time, primarily evenings and weekends, with some remote work possible.

Other duties as needed.

Qualifications

5 plus years in a research laboratory setting, managerial experience a plus. 

PhD preferable, in related fields such as neuroscience, psychology, cognitive neuroscience, computer science, biomedical engineering, etc.
